As a member of the Collège des Amis des Architectes du Patrimoine, Olivier Herbez took part in the trip organized by the association Architectes du Patrimoine from May 20 to 25, 2016.  The goal was to discover the historical heritage and the architectural identity of Bavaria.

Among our most memorable visits were the Nymphenburg Palace, which was Bavarian princes’ and kings’ Summer residence, the Ottobeuren Abbey and the Herrenchiemsee, which Louis II of Bavaria wished to make as a replica of the Château de Versailles.

The association also visited the contemporaneous Museum Lenbachhaus of Munich, signed by Foster + Partners, and the Olympinc Stadium of Munich.
