This project is located in the Integrated Development Zone (ZAC) of the Hautil-Oise area and the goal is to create a new heart for the city of Jouy-le-Moutier.  In the years to come, 1 000 housing units and many shops will be built in order to instill a new dynamic to the city.

As the first building lot of the ZAC, this projet needs to start a new urban façade, to signal the city’s entrance and offer a soft transition between the existing architectural style and the one of the to-be city center.

One of the main objectives of the project is to create a quality living environment which fits well with the scenery.  The structures of the buildings are centered around two vegetated cores and offer private outdoor spaces for each dwelling.  This design reinterprets the main features of buildings from the Ile-de-France region (tilted roofs, tiles and bricks) in order to integrate the construction in the city in a subtle and sustainable way.  The simplicity of volumes and the continuity of materials used, from the ground floor to the roof, mark this project with a contemporaneous architectural style.
