This project is located within Montévrain’s future “Green district” that has been planned by EPAMARNE, and drawn by the Atelier Philippe Madec. It is composed of two buildings: an office building hosting the headquarters of a real-estate developer, and a fourteen-apartment building.
The main challenge of this project is twofold: reach high environmental goals, and establish a strong architectural identity.
The building starts with a dense shape and then, develops additional volumes towards the South. This structure leaves convivial outdoor spaces and helps saving solar energy. The basis of this project is the user’s comfort.
Energy performance and specific lighting levels are another key element of this project. In addition, the standards of the BEPOS label are met, in particular due to the creation of a central atrium.
The different layouts of outdoor spaces respond to the need for mixed uses (private terraces, gardens, parking spaces). In particular, a specific outdoor set of furniture, fitting with the architectural style of the building, helps to achieve this.
